Electrical recommendations for our 100lt & 200lt distillers.
Disclaimer: Advice only, always hire a certified electrician to do your home or commercial distillery electrical supply & always make sure that you get a Electrical COC (certificate of compliance). To ensure that your house insurance policy stays valid. Please ask your certified electrician to provide the following minimum specifications:
1) 50amp dedicated breaker at your DB board.
2) 4mm x 3 core Norse cable (Neutral, live, earth) feed to 3) 50amp Isolator box , with pilot light, before the distiller controller.
4) Power Feed to control box from 50amp isolator box : 4mm x 3 core Norse cable.(Neutral, live, earth)
5) Power Feed from control box to each element 4mm x 3 core (Neutral, live, earth) cab-tyre” flexi cable.
6) NB: Ensure each element & the boiler is properly earthed.
